Tasting Notes
From the Sandy Corner Block of the Wait vineyard, this old vine Shiraz comes from a dry-grown site that thrived in a cool, low-yielding season. Crushed, destemmed and aged in old oak with minimal additions, it shows a mid-weight style with dark fruit, savoury spice and a subtle bacon fat note. Balanced, expressive and great value, it’s a wine that really speaks to the quality of the site. Producer Note.

Focusing on small-batch, site-specific expressions, the label is best known for its exceptional handling of old-vine Grenache and Shiraz. By combining a minimal-intervention philosophy with technical precision, Juxtaposed produces wines that are both intellectually engaging and incredibly drinkable, often defined by their vibrant fruit and elegant tannin structure.
