Tasting Notes
Young Semillon can be tough to approach, especially in it's vintage year. However, this wine (coming from 50 year-old vines) is very approachable indeed! More green apple on the nose - rather than the typical lemon/lime combination - with a touch of lanolin and a subtle stony minerality. The palate is juicy and vibrant, with all that racy acidity that is typical from young Semillon, but still plenty of ripe fruit underneath. This is not your age-in-the-cellar-for-twenty-years Semillon. This is your grab-now-and-enjoy Semillon! - Felix G
