Tasting Notes
Italy meets Bordeaux? Or Australia meets Super Tuscan? Probably the first time I've ever encountered a blend like this... 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Sangiovese and 2% Sciacarello. The boys might be on to something here! All the fruit is sourced from 20 plus year old vines grown on black red clay on limestone. Naturally fermented in open fermenters, gently worked and left on skins for 3 weeks and pressed to French oak for 10 months. Powerful and detailed with a darket fruit profile framed by chewy tannins. - Pete L
