Tasting Notes
A cool and cooling wine! It’s both Gamay (variety) and Anjou (region), colliding into one very delicious wine. 50 year old vines planted on schist. There’s buoyant fruits and fresh acidity from the Gamay, mixed with the savoury and structured influence of Anjou. Slightly spritzy on opening, so I recommend a light decant and serving at 12C. - Chris L
