Tasting Notes
Denser and darker in colour than the well-known pale Provence styles. With this colour comes more intense fruit character but not at the expense of freshness. Nero d'Avola, Frappato and a pinch of Moscato make up this blend that oozes character and vitality. It's alive and I loved it! Needs food. - Chris L
Lamoresca is located on a hill, at a height of 430 meters above sea level on sandstone and clay-limestone. The climate is typically Mediterranean; dry, hot summer with little rain. The agricultural farm Lamoresca is situated in the heart of Sicily, in the small town of San Michele di Ganzaria, in the Gigliotto district. In the year 2000 we Purchased our first piece of land, an olive grove with 46 very ancient olive trees of the local Moorish variety, after which we named our farm Lamoresca. Year after year the farm has grown and now we cultivate roughly 10 hectares of land between vineyard and olive grove with the greatest respect for nature.
