Tasting Notes
I love tasting all these new producers lately! Laura Lardy is another fresh import to our shores and a new arrival to AC. She produces Gamay from a variety of different cru's across Beaujolais and for us the Chenas really stood out. Red berry and cherry across a spectrum of ripeness add layers of details to this fresh and light expression of Gamay. All the 2020's we have tried from Beaujolais have looked very smart and this continues that theme of quality from the vintage. - Pete L
It's a lively gamay with fresh red friuts aplenty to smell and taste, plus fine chalky tannins and a lick of alcohol (14%); to leave you with a "I want more" fruity & savoury mouthful! Pure fruits and complexing tannin structure. - Michael L.
