Tasting Notes
What a great little value-for-money Pinot Noir this is. There is plenty of fruit weight and a lovely floral nose that flows onto plush red berries on the palate. There are savory, darker nuances that offset all those lifted cherry-berry characters making for a delightful, fun Pinot Noir. It treads a fairly light path across the palate and finishes dry. Le Chat Noir is a range of modern French wines created by Vincent Charleux. Inspired by the humble village bistro that is at the heart of French culture and cuisine, the Le Chat Noir wines are generous and approachable ‚– perfect for sharing with family and friends. The Le Chat Noir wines are sourced from the Aude Valley, located in the foothills of the Pyrenees south of the famed walled hillside town of Carcassonne. Rising to an altitude of 450 metres, the terraced, low yielding vineyards are cooled by refreshing winds and chilly nights, creating elegant and varietally expressive wines. - Importer Note
