Tasting Notes
Les Fruits is the winemaking project of long-time wine importer Tim Stock. It's obvious that Tim has spent a lot of his life listening to some of the craftiest producers because his wines are fantastic. They are both natural and precise. This Edward Pinot Noir is really fleshy and skinsy, so reminiscent of a Pinot Noir grape itself. It's bright red fruits jump from the glass and the bright acidity on the palate compliments this well. A fresh example of Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir that is quite thirst quenching at this stage of it's life. Give it a little more time in bottle and I guarentee you'll be rewarded. Fantastic! - Chris L
Les Fruits is the winemaking project of Tim Stock, using naturally and biodynamically farmed grapes sourced from the Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley. Produced in a shed in the Basket Range, the winemaking is simple and traditional. All wines are matured on lees in old French oak barrels of varying sizes, with nothing added apart from minimal sulphur at racking and/or bottling. All of the wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered.
