Tasting Notes
This wine was crafted from a blend of historic 88 year old and 45 year old vineyards, situated in a cold pocket of the Monferrato hills outside Canelli in Piemonte, Italy. Grapes were hand harvested fermented at 15 degrees Celsius, then arrested and cold settled at 0 degree Celsius to attain a final alcohol of 5.5%. The wine was held at 2.1 atmospheres pressure through bottling to preserve natural effervescence. 100% Moscato bianco. - Winery Note
This husband/wife winemaking combo are nerds... and we love them. Their wines are named after the Linnaean binomial system (plant naming) created by naturalist Carl Linnaeus. They travel the world together making wine from some of the most prestigious regions in the world - Barolo, Napa and Heathcote. As a whole they are more restrained, savoury styles of wine.
