Tasting Notes
Longrow represents the heavily peated face of Springbank, and this bottling shows Campbeltown character in bold relief. The nose opens with bonfire smoke, seaweed and brine, layered over malty sweetness, lemon zest and a touch of vanilla cream. On the palate it is robust and smoky, yet balanced: tar, charred oak and earthy spice mingle with toffee, citrus and dried fruit, all carried on a rich, oily texture. The finish is long and warming, with lingering campfire smoke, peppery spice and a savoury maritime edge. A powerful yet complex dram that combines coastal freshness with brooding peat. - Chris L
