Tasting Notes
From organically farmed vineyards in Kakheti, eastern Georgia, this qvevri-fermented Rkatsiteli shows both the depth and finesse that define the variety. The nose opens with aromas of dried apricot, quince and orange peel, layered with notes of chamomile, almond and subtle spice. On the palate, it is textured and savoury, with a fine tannic grip and flavours of citrus oil, preserved lemon and tea leaf. A gentle oxidative note adds complexity, balanced by bright acidity and a long, mineral finish. Structured yet graceful, it’s a beautifully poised example of traditional Georgian amber wine. - Chris L
