Tasting Notes
Hugely aromatic Riesling from Hamish Young (ex Eden Road) and I loved it! I've got to admit I'm not a big fan of most overtly aromatic grape varieties (take Gewurztraminer for example) but this wine really had me. Why? The nose may have been aromatic and bursting with character, but the palate still had that trademark tearing Canberra acidity to hold it all together. Hats off, this is a cracker! - Chris L
