Tasting Notes
Our 2015 Shiraz was handpicked on two separate occasions to factor in different ripening stages of the block and variation between clones. The result is an elegant and well rounded wine with flavours of chocolate, wild raspberry fruits and subtle mint characters. The acid structure of this vintage gives a brightness to the mouthfeel and will ensure longevity in the cellar to those with patience.
Main & Cherry is a family owned vineyard in Cherry Gardens, Adelaide Hills dedicated to handcrafting small-batch wines. Together with our home block of Shiraz, we also source grapes from passionate growers in other pockets of the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale, taking advantage of the vast diversity of the soils and climates of these great regions. All of our wines begin in the vineyard, from the soil up, where nature handles the big things and we gently guide along the rest with intuition, patience and passion.
