Tasting Notes
Poached cherries and plums, tempered with violet, mocha and vanilla. Silky tannins bring into frame clove and fennel seed spice. Forest floor undertones add another layer to a fine boned, but complex wine. - Winery Note
Welcome to the Mornington Peninsula's first licensed winery and our vineyard home, established in 1975 by pioneering vignerons Nat and Rosalie White.
Main Ridge Estate's enviable reputation has been built on a 44 year heritage of producing benchmark Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, only from estate grown fruit, carefully crafted to express the season and the site. Since 2015, our winemaker son James Sexton has successfully carried on those winemaking traditions with Nat as a mentor.
Drawing on our family history in hospitality, we personally look after our cellar door visitors. We want to show you our wines in the best possible way ‚– in a beautiful and tranquil setting, with simple good food and warm hospitality.
