Tasting Notes
With just 3000 bottles produced, this now iconic wine is something of a rarity so it’s a pleasure to welcome its arrival. Grown in the Santa Maria Vineyard, at 500m on sand, limestone and volcanic rock - this well ventilated site is one of the highest in Montalcino. When Combined with Marino’s restraint in the cellar it creates sublime Brunello that favours elegance and finesse, compared to the common blockbuster styles. Marino is something of a pioneer in Montalcino, farming organically. - Importer Note
