Tasting Notes
If you love the wines from Valpolicella but you haven't heard of Marion then you should probably listen up. Alongside Quintarelli, Marion, is one of our favourite producers of Valpolicella, and there is obvious reason for that. Marion’s winemaker Celestino Gaspari worked for Giuseppe Quintarelli for 15 years and it is very evident in both the finished wines and the production method.
The Amarone is deep, dark, brooding and structured. 100% dried grapes as required by the DOCG to make this very concentrated and decadent wine. A beautiful example of the style and one to be appreciated. - Chris L
