A pure Carignan and extremely attractive - it has a bright ruby/plum colour, a heady scent of vibrant dark fruits and spice and is very delicious and easy to enjoy. This has the charm of Cru Beaujolais but the depth and richness of the Languedoc - serve it slightly chilled and ease into it during the Summer with anything grilled - it is a delight and for anyone who wonders why I am always going on about proper, old vine Languedoc Carignan, this is it.
