Tasting Notes
A beauty as always, we don't ever get much of this (48 btl available this year) but it clearly a standout in the cellar whenever Jean-Francois decides to bottle it. I must confess a deep admiration for this grape, it is at once the heart of darkness but at the same time expressive, complex, sensual and satisfying. A variety with the capacity to age alongside the likes of Nebbiolo and Riesling yet it gets little love - time is what it needs, that is all. Put this one away and reap the rewards in years to come! - Importer Note
