The Mohawk Hill vineyard is situated in Central Otago's Lowburn sub-region. Like many producers in this area, Maude have made a ripe, plush, dark-fruited expression of Pinot Noir. It's powerful and full, with plenty of complexing characters; anise, cedar, vanilla bean, ripe spice. - Chris L
