Tasting Notes
Maxime Crotet is the Chef de Cave for Frederic Cossard, one of the kings of natural wine in Burgundy. Maxime has set out on his own and is now producing wines under his own label. Due to a poor vintage in 2021 Maxime had to source fruit from regions outside of Burgundy. This is a straight Carignan from Ventoux and Vauclase made in a very hands off fashion like his mentor. He's kept things quite fresh and aromatic filled with layers of cherry, blackberry and very fine tannin. - Pete L
