Tasting Notes
The Yarra makes some of Australia's finest Pinot Noir, and this is a lovely reminder of why. It comes off a small, organically farmed block of MV6, one of the classic old Pinot clones, from vines around thirty years old. It's got everything you want from a good Yarra Pinot, bright red cherry and strawberry, a savoury, earthy undercurrent and a pretty floral lift, with the warmer season nudging the fruit a little sweeter and rounder. A touch of whole bunch brings spice and fine, silky tannin. Elegant, perfumed and thoroughly moreish. - Pete L
