Not sure why the wine is called Retromarcia but the font choices make sense! This is 100% Sangiovese from Panzano in the Chianti Classico zone and is packed full of blue, black and red berries that are balanced with a hint of citrus and turned earth. This would sit perfectly alongside anything Italian happening in the kitchen, yet could easily be enjoyed with out food as the tannins are quite moderate. - Pete L
