Rare, limited and exceptional. One of the great cult wines of our time. La Pergole Torte is the top cuvee from Montevertine in Tuscany. 90% Sangiovese with the remainder made up with Canaiolo and Colorino. It's aged in both large and small oak vessels for two years before bottling. Structured, powerful and elegant, and in need of a good cellar for 10+ years for optimum enjoyment. Brilliant. - Chris L
