Tasting Notes
A blend of 60% Pinot Noir 30% Pinot Meunier from a from a very cool South facing vineyard in the higher parts of the Piccadilly Valley, producing grapes with high natural acid and exotic spices. 10% Pinot Gris from a small Lenswood vineyard. Three grapes were fermented separately using a high proportion of whole bunches, spontaneous fermentation and a gentle extraction to produce a delicate style of wine. - Winery Note
Our vineyard is located behind the township of Oakbank in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. Producing excellent Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. There has been a lot of blood sweat and tears along the way.
Now, with 20 vintages under our belt the results speak for themselves. We carefully hand prune, shoot thin, bunch thin, and hand pick to produce the best possible wines that show the unique characters of our place. - Winery Note
