Welcome to our wine estate, located in Styria, the southern province of Austria. We are pleased you have discovered us and hope our views about wine and the information on the following pages will attract your interest.
We, that's Sepp and Maria Muster and our three children, took over the 10-hectare estate from our parents, Theresia und Rudolf Muster, where we now work and reside. The oldest documented records of the estate date back to 1727. The layout plans of the vineyards are first found in the "Josephinischen Landesaufnahmen" (provincial agriculture records) of 1787.
We place value in the vitality, authenticity and character of our wines. They are the result of processes, bridging our values to the labour in the vineyards and the cellar.
For us, wine is a living and continually evolving product. Attributing these terms to wine often means taking a sidestep and distancing oneself from labroratory analysis in order to approach the "soul" of wine. Along with this approach, wine can inspire one to reach with himself. - Winery Note
