Tasting Notes
A great new find for us. Grenache from Carinena, a region that is often overlooked when it comes to quality wines in Spain but thankfully producers are waking up to the quality these old vineyards can produce when they are in the right hands. This is aged in stainless steel tanks and is another example of the modernisation taking place in Spain as we are seeing more and more fresher styles of wine that let the fruit quality shine. It's mid-weight, ripe fruited and gilded with florals and spice. - Pete L

The Navascués family has a long history in winemaking, using traditional viticultural measures in the vineyard and modern techniques in the winery. They are known for their expertise with the Garnacha grape, which is a traditional variety in Aragón, but also produce delicious Macabeo as a white wine.
