Tasting Notes
This lightly bubbly rose has a delicious nose of exotic flowers and musk, pithy grapefruit, blood orange and citrus blossom. On the palate there it is a summery mixed fruit salad experience, that is light, refreshingly fruity yet with a dry finish. - Ngeringa
Janet and Erinn Klein started Ngeringa in the Adelaide Hills with one aim - to produce the greatest wine possible without compromising their ethics and values. The land was originally part of the famous biodynamic Jurlique herb farm and has been farmed this way for 40 years. Today, it is home to close-planted vines and roaming Scottish Highland cows, sheep, chickens, a heritage orchard and extensive native revegetation which help promote a thriving ecosystem. They work the vines with the rhythms of the seasons and take no shortcuts in the winemaking to produce wines with energy and vitality that are true reflections of the land and vintage that they came from.
