The White Rocks from Nick O'leary is his top-teir Riesling. It's beautifully fine and delicately aromatic at first appraisal, yet the power lies beneath, in waiting. The palate is crystalline and chalky, nuanced by white spice, lime, white flowers and a strong backbone of minerality that's reminiscent of the decomposed shale soils of the vineyard by Lake George.
