Tasting Notes
Malbec grown right up at 650 metres on ancient decomposed granite and matured in sandstone amphora, which keeps it fresh and pure. It's a deep, intense purple, wonderfully fragrant with all that classic Malbec blueberry and a savoury lift of dried herbs. The palate is juicy and dense but never heavy, carried along by lovely silky tannins. A high-altitude Malbec with real perfume and drive, and seriously good drinking. Fresher than the South American's make and to me that's a good thing! - Pete L
