Cabernet Franc from the famed Les Picasses vineyard in Chinon. Traditionally made, but the result is a rustic and unadultered expression of variety and place. Full-bodied, dark-fruited, mineral and gamey. The structure is intense and tightly wound. This is a wine for the long haul so carefully cellaring is advised. - Chris L
