Tasting Notes
Four different Syrah clones drawn off five separate vineyards go into this one, which is where a lot of the complexity comes from. The vines are mostly bush vines, growing on a mix of sandstone, clay shale, schist and quartz. Up to 30% whole bunch, fermented naturally in open top fermenters. Red currant and mulberry sit at the core, then liquorice, dark berries and a proper crack of white pepper on the finish. - Pete L
