Tasting Notes
Not your average or ordinary Rose. The En Valingrain is from a limestone-rich vineyard in southern Champagne made from 100% Pinot Noir and drinks like nothing you've ever laid your eyes on before (perhaps...). For starters, it's definitely a food wine... savoury, tight, tannic, complex and oozes minerality. There's so much to this wine that it'll only benefit from some more time in bottle. A contemplative wine that I enjoyed thoroughly. - Chris L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
