Rich, tropical and layered with complexity. It may be at the higher end of the Gris market but it delivers in every way. It has balance of all it's components: acid, body, length, texture and flavour are second to none. Seeing one third new oak adds to the complexity but never overpowers the wine in any way. A paradigm shift for Ruth and George Mihaly saw us surrender our established careers in food for Ruth and medical research for George to viticulture and winemaking respectively.
We have always been passionate about food and wine and our obsessive pursuit of quality and commitment to ecologically responsible practices led us to establish our ideal and environmentally sustainable vineyard/home site on the Mornington Peninsula.
The overriding focus is on achieving balanced healthy vines producing carefully selected, exceptional & low yielding fruit.
