Tasting Notes
We've been loving Pat's Chardonnay recently. His Brothers Chardonnay was a beautiful nod to the Jura and this wine follows suit. Slightly reductive on open, savoury with hints of roasted nuts, layers of citrus fruit and acidity that frame the wine and add drive. - Pete L
Lemon, lemon zest, a touch of white peach, crushed cashews, tasteful popcorn and an underlying mineral presence jump from the glass. This has incredible acidity lifting and providing line and length to the subtle creaminess of the body. A fantastic modern Chardonnay. - Aaron C.
Patrick Underwood has created his self-titled label to showcase his greatest wines from selected sites in Central Victoria. You might have come across Pat's wines before under the guise of Little Reddie. We love these wines too, but the Patrick Underwood wines show an undeniable leap into his maturity as an individual and a winemaker. Sourced from only the best sites in the region, Pat has produced wines of great complexity and structure, honing in on his true passions of Chardonnay and Nebbiolo.
