Tasting Notes
Fourteenth generation wine growers in the Nahe since 1627, brothers Paul and Rudolf Anheuser run this diverse and little‐known Estate. The volcanic soils of the Nahe basin deliver fine crisp and dry Rieslings which tend to be more full‐bodied than the Mosel and brighter than the Rheinhessen. The wines are fermented in traditional old oak foudres in the cool and damp vaulted cellars in the heart of the Kreuznach. Sourced directly from the Anheuser’s cellar where it has been since it was bottled ‐ Importer Note
