Tasting Notes
La Montre was created by Paul Gosset and his father as a second perpetual reserve, distinct from Des Jours et Des Muids, with the unique feature of being conserved in bottle. Each year a portion is drawn off at low pressure, returned to tank, and blended with the new harvest, building towards a twelve-year cycle symbolised by the hours on a watch face. The edition known as 3 Heures brings together three vintages—2016, 2017 and 2018—sourced from the estate’s vineyards in Aÿ, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Dizy and Chouilly, and is composed of 75% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay and 5% Meunier. - Pete L
