Perihelion is the second label from Chris Coulter of Coulter Wines based in the Adelaide Hills. For this label he is purchasing fruit from sustainably farmed vineyards and producing value focussed wines like this Pinot Noir. This is surprisingly a pretty serious Pinot Noir for it's price compared to the fruit bombs that you tend to see at this level... This blends tart and sweet cherries and raspberry with hints of savoury earth and spice and lingers on the palate. - Pete L
The Perihelion label is a second tier label to Coulter Wines. Based in the Adelaide Hills, the Perihelion wines are based on sustainability, in the vineyards, the winery and the packaging. They represent excellent value for money too.
