Tasting Notes
Here's a Saint Emilion with a very fancy postcode, its vines sit right beside Cheval Blanc, out on the border with Pomerol. It's a Merlot led blend (about 85%) with a good chunk of Cabernet Franc, farmed organically and it's all class. Lifted and perfumed in the glass, bursting with wild strawberry, red currant and dark cherry, with smoky, earthy, spicy notes from the Cabernet Franc. The palate is full but harmonious, all pure fruit and charm, with lovely structure and elegance. Cracking value for the pedigree. - Pete L
