Tasting Notes
From cooler, higher-altitude vineyards west of Saint-Aubin, this cuvée showcases Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey’s hallmark precision in a vibrant, energetic frame. The nose is bright and citrus-driven, with lemon peel, green apple and subtle white blossom underscored by a fine mineral edge. On the palate, it is taut and linear, delivering crisp orchard fruit, chalky grip and a lively saline thread that drives through to the finish. Oak is seamlessly integrated, bringing gentle spice and texture without weight. A beautifully detailed expression of Chardonnay that balances purity, freshness and quiet complexity. - Chris L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
