Tasting Notes
Made in tiny quantities from Pinot Noir parcels near Saint-Aubin, this is a refined and energetic rosé that mirrors Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey’s precise, terroir-driven style. The nose is delicately perfumed with wild strawberry, redcurrant and rose petal, lifted by a hint of citrus zest and crushed stone. On the palate, it is taut and linear, showing juicy red fruit framed by brisk acidity and a fine mineral thread. Dry, crisp and quietly complex, it finishes long and refreshing, with both charm and a subtle seriousness rarely found in rosé. - Chris L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
