100% Nerello Mascalese from 70-110 year old vines in the most prestigious area of the Etna DOC.
A fine Etna red built around red fruits and earthy spices (some say earthy minerals); with some ripe, serious chalky tannins from both skins and older oak barrels. 13.5% alc. Will love a beef casserole or even a lamb cutlet on the barbie with a fresh salad or steamed veggies. - Michael L
