Tasting Notes
The 2021 harvest was the 2nd time that the Place of Changing Winds team sourced a batch of fruit from an exciting new grower in Harcourt, on the granitic sands of Mount Alexander.
The cooler Harcourt site yields more savoury, spicy Syrah and, from 2021 POCW will make a specific wine from this site. An earlier drinking expression, it's already highly aromatic, bursting with flavours of juicy blue fruits, perfumed violets and spice. The palate is vibrant with a silky body, underpinned by driving acidity and a nip of graphite-like tannins. - Distributor Note
