It's "Lambrusco" like these that really get me excited! No wine in my mind is more versatile with food than Lambrusco. Salad and seafood, white and red meats, Italian or Asian cuisine, Lambrusco works. It's just a matter of picking the right one! Here we have a sparkling white made from Trebbiano di Modena e Trebbiano di Spagna. It's very friendly and approachable, suited to lighter dishes but can also handle charcuterie and the likes. - Chris L
