Tasting Notes
Poggerino's Sangiovese is truely classic with dark cherry fruit on the nose and palate and fine chalky tannins. 14.5% alc. Balanced and oh so glugable. - Michael L
The historic Poggerino property was once part of the estate of Prince Ginori Conti, a member of one of Florence’s oldest families. Today the estate, situated at Radda in the heart of Chianti Classico, is run by highly-dedicated brother and sister team, Piero and Benedetta Lanza, who took over from their father in the mid-eighties. Piero Lanza strives to produce a wine that best expresses the typicity of Sangiovese, while reflecting the individuality of Poggerino’s terroir. - Winery Note
