Tasting Notes
The Truscott Block sits 550 metres up in Piccadilly in the Adelaide Hills, with vines planted in 1980 that are some of the oldest Pinot Noir in the region. Mostly destemmed with 15% whole bunches, it spends 28 days on skins before a basket press and maturation in French hogsheads. There's real depth and spice here, with structural tannin playing off lovely high tone florals that carry the palate high and long. Seriously good old vine Pinot from the Hills. - Pete L
