Tasting Notes
100% Nebbiolo from the Rabaja cru in Barbaresco. A south-west facing cru planted on calcareous limestone with sandy veins. It’s both complex and elegant, with silky tannins and intense dark fruit on the finish. - Winery Note
50 families,100 hectares, the Produttori del Barbaresco in my opinion is the best co-operative winery in the world. The style is traditional and unadulterated. The general Barbaresco is a blend of all the vineyards from all the families to make up one hell of a blend. The single vineyard sites are extraordinary expressions of the best Cru's in the region, all produced in the same way yet they show the individual parcels of fruit very differently. True terroir. - Chris L
