Tasting Notes
A fantastic little wine from the Ribera del Duero region, just south of Rioja. Bright red fruits on the nose, along with some lovely savoury notes - dried herbs, gamey meats - and just a hint of subtle oak. The medium-bodied palate shows more ripe red fruits, together those wonderful savoury, meaty tones. Supported by good acid and firm tannins, the finish is long and just accented by a touch of sweet vanillin oak. A wonderful Spanish Tempranillo, without the Rioja pricetag! - Felix G
