Tasting Notes
There's a good story in this one. 2021 threw everything at the vineyard, frost, wind, torrential rain and disease, and left Luc with no harvest at all. So Épisode 21 was born out of that instead, a blend of the 2019 and 2020 vintages, a Meunier-led fizz from the single village of Belval-sous-Châtillon. It's fermented in tank, aged eighteen months in bottle and finished bone dry at barely any dosage. The result is honest, characterful Champagne that turns a tough year into something worth celebrating. - Pete L
