Tasting Notes
A beautiful translucent ochre in colour, quite stunning. It’s a melding of copper and bronze hues, with a rusty haze reminiscent of the Australian Outback. On the nose, you’re immediately taken towards other drinks; vermouth, bitters, cola, burnt orange are all distinct. Juicy and light on its feet initially, before chewy tannins kick in and scatter the back palate to dry. Would pair well with spicier dishes and Asian flavours. A curious wine. - Mitch M
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
