Tasting Notes
Something different from Bryan with the introduction of a Syrah and after tasting it I hope this becomes a regular in the estate lineup. The Shiraz Viognier he is known for producing is darker in profile, richer and more primary fruited where as this Syrah is mid weight, offering more spice, wood, turned earth and savoury nuance that supports the fruit. Probably a wine to drink while you wait for the Shiraz Viognier to come of age. - Pete L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
